Jackie Madden Council Candidate

-I move to the Marlpool estate 24 years ago, and my two children now aged 23 & 18 went to local schools. I myself went to Haybridge High school and then did a Pharmacy degree at Aston University getting a 2:1.

-I worked for the Dudley group of NHS hospitals for 12 years, where I was promoted to Senior Pharmacist responsible for chemotherapy drugs and intravenous feeds. I have since left to be a full-time mom.

-When my children were younger I would walk the daily school run and I was appalled at the amount of dog poo in the estate. I walk through the estate a lot less now, but I still find it a problem.

-I have always a Lib Dem supporter, and agree with their policies. At school we had to vote on different Government policies, without knowing which party they actually belonged to, I found the whole classincluding myself voted for Lib Dems on almost evey policy. I have supported Oliver's campaign in Franche and Habbberley for the last 5 years.

1-I believe more effort should be made to get people more physically active and mixing socially through GPs giving social prescriptions and leisure passes to combat isolation and ill health.

2-I believe we should move away from using weed killers, for our own health as well as for the health of our pollinators and wildlife.

3-I believe in providing improved insulation for the worst housing and for the poorest residents. I also think introducing a council heat sensor service to find problem areas within residents' houses will help directly find and treat problem areas for heat loss.
