Peter Dyke wants to fight for more openness in the way the County Council works. "It's not just expenses but the lack of accountability," says Peter, "If people are going to regain confidence in their public servants, they need better access to the way we make decisions about how we spend taxpayers' money."

"Worcestershire's Tory Cabinet have vastly increased their own allowances while doubling the number of officers paid over £50,000 per year and handing fat contracts to unelected consultants. It's poor government and I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting this changed."
