Action Taken on Lights

4.10.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Wed 20th May 2009

After a Tory Councillor had pictures taken with newly installed lights in Piggy Alley, residents found that they were not working!

They got in touch with Cllr Helen Dyke to ask if she could find out why.

Helen contacted the County Council and found that these lights are Not working because they are Not yet connected to the power supply!!

Helen cannot understand why this wasn't done when the lights were installed.

She has asked them to be connected as soon as possible and will let residents know when she has a definite date.
