District News4.00.00pm GMT Mon 11th Feb 2008 Children's Car Seat Checks ======================= The Fire Service and County Council will be at Salisbury's on Crossley Park in Kidderminster on Thursday February 21st , giving help and advice on the fitting of children's car seats in your car. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Carton Recycling ======================== You can now recycle your cartons in one of the new special collection bins. The nearest collection bin is on Bromsgrove Street in Kidderminster. The cartons will be recycled into a range of products from plaster board liner to high strength paper bags and envelopes. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Town Centre Manager For Kidderminster =============================== Interviews were held in December last year for the position of Town Centre Manager for Kidderminster. The Managers duties will include attracting more businesses into the town centre and to make the town a better place to shop and visit. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Looses Slabs ================================ Residents have reported loose slabs on Constitution Hill and around the Station Hill subway entrance. These loose slabs make it difficult for pedestrians , buggies and wheel chairs. Councillor Helen Dyke has reported the problems to the Highways Department for repair as soon as possible.
