Residents in Birchfield Road,Oakfield Road and Bell Orchard have contacted Samantha Walker about the way Highway engineers have left the road surface in this area and asking her to find out when they will be coming back to finish the job.

Samantha says"this is ludicrous at how the County Council Highways Department can leave a road in such a dangerous condition which is on a main route to Sutton Park Community Primary School. Having travelled on this road recently and braked i slid into the curb, this is because of the condition that the Highways Department have left the road in, if there had been a child crossing the road at the time there could have been a serious incident, this is unacceptable for a road which is used by parents and children of Sutton Park Community Primary School to be put in danger because of a job not finished."

This is also a danger to cyclists and motorbikes who use this road to commute to Baxter College and other areas
