Local Lad gets Elected

Kent University's Liberal Democrats have had a fantastic elections campaign, getting Canterbury's only student councillor elected, something neither Labour or the Conservatives ever looked like achieving.

Society Chairman Adam Parsons was yesterday elected councillor for the Barton Ward in Canterbury, making him the youngest ever councillor ever to be elected to the Canterbury City Council

Adam Parsons was a Wyre Forest Young Lib Dem for many years and we wish him luck in his new venture.
