Police Restructuring Update

Our local police force may not be perfect but at least it is local!

It is rated as the number one force in the Country but the fourth worst funded.the Labour Government wants to change things . It wants us to join with another force such as West Mids to be a "super force."

That may sound good in practice but we will end up a very small fish in a very large pond. We don't always get the police help we want now, how will it be if we have to compete against Birmingham? Councillors Helen and Peter Dyke voted to keep West Mercia as it is, providing local services to local people! Now its up to the Government!
