Worcester Road Crossing Update

10.07.53pm BST (GMT +0100) Mon 10th Oct 2005

Samantha walker has been working with Cllr Helen Dyke to try and get the Worcester Road Crossing between Forest Gate and Humphries Drive built. They can now report back that the Agency in its report agree a crossing with dropped kerbs, rails and a pedestrian island would be a good idea on safety grounds. But the agency also say it would not be treating the work as a priority.

 Cllr Helen Dyke Worcester Road

Samantha and Helen are disappointed but ask you all to keep writing to them on the issue so they can keep the pressure up on the authorities.
